Detailed differences

Drink name conventions are very different

Starbucks abbreviates aggressively: "GRNDE CARAMEL MACCH" instead of "Grande Caramel Macchiato". This is a POS character-limit constraint baked in for decades. Dunkin' uses cleaner size prefixes (LG/MD/SM) before the drink name.

Customizations format differently

Starbucks prints customizations as INDENTED sub-lines under the parent drink (each modifier on its own line). Dunkin' typically inlines customizations after a dash: "LG ICED COFFEE - Cream, 3 Sugar, Caramel Swirl".

Survey codes are different lengths

Starbucks uses a 4-digit "Customer Code" with the MyStarbucksVisit URL. Dunkin' uses an 18-digit code with TellDunkin. The format is an immediate authenticity check.
